Whether you're hosting a small or large crowd, these baby shower games are sure to please.
Baby Bottle GuessBuy a baby bottle and fill it with sour soother candies, jelly beans, diaper pins or any other baby-related item. Count the items as you put them into the jar. Have each guest guess the number of items in the jar. The winner gets a prize and the mom-to-be gets the bottle for her baby! Baby Food Taste TestBuy five to 10 jars of baby food. Write numbers one to 10 on strips of paper or mailing labels and wrap one on each jar to cover the original label. Place the jars on a tray with spoons. Give each guest a piece of paper, pen and small bowl and spoon. Pass each jar around one by one and let everyone taste the baby food, then write down what flavour they think it is. At the end, remove the labels one by one to reveal the food inside. The guest with the most correct guesses wins a prize. Powder ProofCollect several of the following powders: baby powder, baking powder, baking soda, flour, dish detergent, clothing detergent, icing sugar, cornstarch. Place a few tablespoons of each powder in a small plastic bag and tie with a ribbon. Write numbers one through 10 on each bag, then make a master list that match the number with the powder. Place the bags of powder on a tray and give each guest a piece of paper and pen. Pass the powders around and have everyone try to guess what type of powder is in each bag! Give a prize to either the guest with the most correct guesses or everyone who guesses baby powder correctly! Dirty Diaper SmellsGet five to 10 diapers. In each, spread a condiment, such as peanut butter, nutella, strawberry jam and honey. Blindfold guests (or have them keep their eyes closed) and give them a piece of paper and pen. One by one, pass around each diaper, getting everyone to smell it and guess what's inside! The guest with the most correct guesses wins a prize. Baby Name GameGive each guest a piece of paper and pen and have them write down the mom-to-be and the dad-to-be's full first and last names. Then, set a timer for two minutes. Using the letters in the parents' names, have guests create as many first and middle names for the baby. Give extra points for funny names, celebrity names or ridiculous aliases! The most creative player wins a prize.
