These great games are just the thing to create great fun at a birthday party.
Both these games will need a little preparation beforehand. Left and RightYou will need three marbles and three coins for each team for this game. Also, it is best played with a referee.
The game can be even more fun by having the players wear oven mits. Marbles and coins can still be used, or to make it a little easier, use tennis balls and drink coasters. Careful with the CupDivide the players into two teams and have each team form a line. If you have an uneven number of players, chose someone to act as referee. Each player is given a straw. Also, give a plastic cup to the person in each team who has been chosen to start the race. The smaller the cup the more fun the game will be The idea of the game is to pass the plastic cup from one player to the next using only their straw which is held in the player's mouth. Hands are to remain firmly clasped behind player's backs. When the start signal is given, the two teams have to race each other by passing the plastic cup from one person to the next until they reach the last member of the team. The last team member has to race to the table and put the cup in the bowl. If the cup is dropped it has to go back to the beginning of the line and be passed along from the beginning. The first team to get their cup into the bowl on the table is the winner.
