A Princess Birthday Party is full of wonder and make-believe. Find ideas for creating everything from tiaras, royal snacks, and beautiful jewelry to fun goodie bags.

Little girls love to pretend they are a princess. With beautiful dresses, tiaras, and glittering shoes, playing make-believe is a journey to another place and time. Give your princess the party of her life with these simple, yet elegant ideas for a great time with party guests.

Invitations

Printable invites are below. Print on regular paper or cardstock. Cut along the outer dotted lines and fold the inner dotted lines to form the invite. Fill in the appropriate information.

Decorations

Games

Guess the Princess

Print out pictures of all the Disney princesses and have them displayed for the party guests to see. Read clues (starting out with harder ones) to see who guesses which princess you are talking about. Each time a guest answers correctly, give them a small token prize, such as a rose or tube of lip gloss (dollar store).

Princess Dress Up

Divide the guests into two teams. Have the teams stand side-by-side in a relay style at one end of a room (or outside). At the other end of the room, have a gown, wand, tiara, and slippers for each team. At the signal, the first guest in each line will race to the clothes and put them on. Then, they will race back to the next player in line, touch them, and race back to the other end. They will take off the clothes, race back to the line, touch the next player again, and that player must now go and do the same. Keep going until one entire team has gone and is sitting down to show that they have finished.

Crafts

Tiara Craft

Print out the tiara template below onto cardstock paper. Cut out the tiaras so they are ready for the party guests to decorate. Provide markers, glue, small jewels, sequins, and other decorative items that the guests can use to make a tiara. Once the decorations have dried, tie elastic string onto the tiaras to fit the child's head.

Glass Slippers

Ask guests to bring a cheap new pair or old pair of dress shoes (use the "Special Instructions" section on the invitations below) to the party. Let the guests spread glue over their shoes and sprinkle them with gold and silver glitter. Let the glue dry before the guests wear the shoes.

Cake and Snacks

FamilyFun offers a great selection of Princess themed cakes with pictures and instructions.

Fairy Princess Smoothie

Directions: Blend the ingredients together in a blender on high until smooth. Pour into clear plastic cups and garnish with a slice of fresh fruit.
