You've probably seen all the standard birthday invitations for kids and want something a bit different. You want people to laugh when they open up your invites, so put on your thinking cap, brush up on your artistic skills, and together you can put together something really fun. To make people laugh upon opening up your child's invitation, you want to think of some outrageous ideas.
Draw Your Kid
Have your child draw out a funny picture. As long as it's tasteful it can really be of anything, but it just has to elicit a laugh. Have them draw a funny picture of the dog with a party hat on or draw a cake with the birthday boy or girl burying their face in it. This can be absolutely adorable as your child uses their creativity but you end up with something amusing that is sure to get people to laugh right away.
Fun With Face
Use a picture of your child's head on the body of something that is not even close to them. Crop their head onto the picture of a body builder or a gorilla. This can be easy to do as you find some free clip art online and then just put in the face of your child. It will instantly look like your child and people will crack up when they open up the invite. These can be so funny and so easy to do!
Play With Cartoon
Create your own invitation using some of your birthday boy or girl's favorite cartoon characters, but then put your child into the scene. The perfect child birthday party invitations use a favorite such as Spongebob which you can find the setting for online, and then you super impose a picture of your child that matches perfectly. So it looks like your child is playing with Spongebob and this will bring a smile to people's faces immediately. These are really easy to make using a template that you find and can get some good laughs as it's so out there.
Hilarious Greeting
Put something in the invitation that will jump out or make a noise at people when they open it. Get a card that makes noise or can record a voice and then put in your own special and hilarious greeting. Record your child singing a silly song or if you are really creative then you can develop your own invitation online using video and have your child dressed up in a funny costume. You can create something really funny like that such as your child in a chicken suit, have them sing a little birthday greeting, record it, and then email that out as the very coolest and most hilarious child birthday party invitations – one that the guests will not soon forget!
